7 Finalists, 8 Medals at Summers Beach for our Middle School Sharks!!!! 

Our MS Sharks did an amazing job in fun 2'-3' waves today. Special recognitions go to all our finalists but also....

- Lillian for stepping up to compete in both Shortboard and Longboard for her first time!

- Dylan W for being our only double medalist!!

- Lachlan for showing up just in time to join a heat he didnt expect to surf, and he advanced!

- Our newest Sharks Landon D and Dylan C for making the shortboard final in their first comp with us!

- Luke for accepting the challenge to surf Longboard even though he's never really longboarded!

- Tosh and Leo C for giving it their all in two divisions!

- And finally Gianni!! His first contest as a Shark and he really shined; he made his first round heat and surfed an awesome second heat only to miss by a few tenths!

We still have some work to do to beat Cabrillo, who got us again for the Team win, but Coach John is extremely impressed with the teamwork and performances we delivered today.

And a special thanks to all our PARENTS who were there to support the kids and who brought snacks, we seem to have a great vibe this year that can only help us improve!
